The data resulting from the statistical models presented here for the municipalities of Mexico do not constitute official statistics from the INEGI; their purpose is to expand the supply of information derived from the National Health and Nutrition Survey (ENSANUT, 2018), whose results are reliable at the state level and the country as a whole. In this way, the data are only a reference to support decision-making at local levels.

The input to generate estimates of small areas on the prevalence of diseases, in part comes from said sample survey, therefore, they are subject to a measurement error that is controlled by confidence intervals within which it is highly probable that the locate the true population parameter; additionally, the estimates are less reliable for those municipalities with little population. So the information must be taken with the reservation that each municipality deserves.
